VISUAL CONFIDENCE FOR EVERY WEB PRODUCT

Know what changed before your users do.

Verisual runs the browser journeys that matter, compares what users actually see, and sends only meaningful changes into review—whether your app uses React, Rails, Django, static pages, or no framework at all.

  • Matching screenshot bytes stay where the test runs.
  • AI is optional, evidence-grounded, and advisory.

RUN WHERE YOUR PRODUCT LIVES

Use your CI or Verisual's hosted browser.

Keep repository-owned journeys in your existing CI, or save them in Verisual and run them against an approved public HTTPS URL. At each checkpoint, Verisual compares the rendered page and packages only the evidence a reviewer needs.

HOW IT WORKS

From a critical journey to clear evidence.

Define the experience that matters, run it under controlled conditions, and give reviewers the smallest useful decision.

01

Map the journey that matters

Define the path your users cannot afford to lose—sign in, checkout, onboarding, a dashboard, or any other browser flow.

02

Run it in a repeatable browser

Use your CI or Verisual's isolated hosted browser, then compare each checkpoint under controlled conditions.

03

Review only the evidence

Matching images stay where the test ran. When something changes, inspect the baseline, current view, and exact difference.

BUILT FOR VISUAL REVIEW

A controlled path from run to decision.

Keep browser conditions repeatable, evidence focused, and baseline decisions auditable.

DETERMINISTIC FIRST

Signal before intelligence.

Pixels are compared before any model is considered. Matching screenshots and every Free-plan run make zero model calls.

GITHUB-NATIVE

Run selected journeys on PR previews without a workflow file.

Verisual detects successful public Vercel, Netlify, or Cloudflare Pages preview signals through GitHub, verifies the current PR head, and keeps the check tied to the exact commit. V1 locks one provider/context per project.

REVIEWED SMART IGNORING

Turn repeatable DOM movement into a proposed mask.

Deterministic probe captures can suggest bounded ignore zones for timestamps, live regions, changing images, and DOM mutations. A person chooses what to save; suggestions never hide or retroactively pass the current run.

PORTABLE BY DEFAULT

Export a saved journey as native Playwright.

Download a TypeScript spec, config, package manifest, setup guide, environment template, export manifest, and every retained approved baseline. Export stays available on every plan while the project and artifacts remain.

PRIVATE ARTIFACTS

Keep sensitive data in bounds.

Repository secrets stay in CI. Hosted journeys can use encrypted project secrets and an optional encrypted browser session scoped to the approved origin. Visual artifacts remain private to the workspace.

DURABLE BASELINES

Approve the right baseline for each workflow.

CI candidates activate after a trusted deployment; hosted baselines can be approved directly. Both retain an immutable review history.

DETERMINISTIC FIRST. AI WHEN ASKED.

Clear evidence first. Optional intelligence second.

Visual comparison never depends on a model. Paid teams can ask for advisory analysis when a test changes, while Pro teams can launch specialist reviews across product, code, and infrastructure.

Suggest Ignore Zones is deterministic and available on every plan. It proposes bounded regions for human review; it is not the optional paid AI noise override and never masks automatically.

FAQ

How Verisual handles runs and data.

CI and hosted journeys use the same comparison rules, with data scoped to the environment that performs the run.

Does Verisual depend on my framework or test runner?

No. Verisual tests the rendered browser experience, so it works with any web application that can be reached in CI or at an approved URL. Your product can use any framework—or no framework—and your test suite does not need to be built around a specific browser automation tool.

Where do Verisual journeys run?

Repository-owned journeys run through the Verisual CLI in GitHub Actions or your own CI and can test localhost or a deployed application. Starter and Pro can also run stored journeys against an approved public HTTPS URL in Verisual's isolated hosted browser, without connecting a repository.

Are matching screenshots uploaded?

No. Matching screenshot bytes stay in the execution environment and are not retained. The runner sends only hashes, status, and timing metadata. Image artifacts are retained only when a visual result needs review.

When does Verisual use AI?

Never on the Free plan and never for matching screenshots. Ignore-zone suggestions use bounded pixel and DOM heuristics rather than a model, and always require human confirmation. Starter and Pro can separately enable AI journey authoring, changed-test analysis, and allowed noise overrides. Pro can also launch advisory Agent Tests.

Can Verisual test a pull-request preview without a workflow file?

Yes, for public GitHub PR previews. Select active stored journeys and an approved default-target baseline, then Verisual can detect successful Vercel, Netlify, or Cloudflare Pages signals through GitHub. V1 uses one provider/context per project and skips 401/403 protected previews without accepting bypass credentials.

When does Free-plan usage reset?

Free includes 5,000 comparisons per calendar month and resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month. Paid plans follow their subscription billing period.

What happens when a workspace reaches its limit?

A run already in progress can finish, even if it crosses the limit. Verisual blocks the next run or new resource until usage resets or the workspace upgrades; existing data remains available.

How does worldwide billing work?

Secure checkout presents supported local currencies and payment methods, collects applicable tax details, and provides invoices and subscription management.

What happens after a visual change is approved?

In CI, the reviewed candidate stays tied to its exact commit and becomes active only after the trusted deployment path verifies what shipped. For a hosted URL run, an authorized workspace member can approve the new baseline directly.
